Trinnette Morris is a woman of many titles. As a restaurateur, personal chef, culinary educator and serial entrepreneur, Morris launched her food empire, Trindy Gourmet, in 2011. She opened her first restaurant in South Florida, called Trindy Café in 2014. Her second location, Trindy Café – Pleasant City defied all odds and opened in 2020 during the height of the COVID19 pandemic.
Morris is the owner of Grazed, a custom snack and charcuterie board brand; and Grove, a product line featuring items like a bamboo cutting board, chef knife set, charcuterie board knife set, and signature kitchen candle and spray. She is also the founder of Mental Strengthology, a youth program introducing adults and children to foods that reduce stress and anxiety.
In 2022, Morris, along with two local elected officials, launched Blend. This initiative partners small, Black-owned culinary vendors with large corporate and social events and programs. Accordingly, Morris and Trindy Gourmet entered strategic partnerships with Oak View Group (OVG) and Paradies Lagardere to bring black-owned small businesses to the Palm Beach County Convention Center and Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA). More specifically, Trindy Gourmet’s partnership with OVG has helped generate nearly $500,000 in revenue for local, minority-owned small businesses. Morris also collaborated with Brightline in July 2022, to provide an exclusive eating experience for premium package travelers. Trindy creates 13,000 unique charcuterie boxes per month for Brightline.
In early 2024, Trindy Gourmet debuted Haute Oats, an overnight oats brand. Four of the brand’s 13 signature flavors are now available in four retail stores in PBIA.
Morris is the recipient of several awards and accolades, and has been featured locally and nationally in several print publications and television broadcasts.
